Not sure but I think this individual, xenophilia, should change their name to xenosqlia.

Please, someone tell me why, just why do I keep helping someone who doesn't try for themselves?

    *snicker*

A little boy goes to his father and asks, "Daddy, how was I born?"

The father answers,"Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway!

Your mother and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo.

Then I set up a date via e-mail with her and we met at a cyber-cafe.

We sneaked into a secluded room and Googled each other.

Then your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive.

As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared that said:*

Oddly enough, that captcha came up when I was doing something at one of my writer association sites.

On that point, do you have any sites/apps that you can get a writing practice topic or starting scene or similar each day? I had a site a while back, but it disappeared.

I know some people post such things (or used to). I'll look around and see what I can find. In the meantime, does this help? http://brandietarvin.livejournal.com/48600.html

FYI: Apparently Twitter hashtag #writingprompts has several people posting writing prompts. You may want to follow the list.

Thank you. That should be enough (and probably around when I do find time to get back into writing)

Oh lord, I think someone either has a homework panic (as seems to be standard around here) or is WAY over their heads at their job. They want me to design an entire Tennis management system for them. Good news is, I've done it before (wish I still had the design actually). Bad news is, hells no. I got paid to do it last time.

Tell him you have the code lying around and that you'll send it to him, together with your generous consulting fee. 😀

And then suppose they sell this as an app.

I wonder how it gets supported if there is and issue?

"supported"! Ha! That's a good one. Half the time even when there is support is is the same as when there isn't.

    Is your PM box full?

maybe they revoked permissions to receive pms after that last joke.

    I have 41 PMs in my box. I don't think that's full.

Wow, look who's being Funny Guy at the water cooler today.

    @=)

Actually, I haven't received a new PM since 2009, but I never thought anything of it until a couple of PMs I sent recently didn't receive responses. And the people in question aren't the type to just not-respond.
