Are the posted questions getting worse?

Wow. Did I catch that right? The OP posted in an Article discussion because we weren't answering the questions elsewhere?

And now he is getting defensive, not quite hostile.

I like the "don't make me do any work, just give me the answers!" attitude. The writing is horrible too, everything about his(her) posts smacks of laziness.

Not laziness, entitlement. I am entitled to get the answers I want without having to work for them.

Tiz the nature of the generation - aren't they being dubbed the "Entitlement Generation" akin to Generation X a few years back?

Thankfully I don't see that in my girls. They work for what they want (for the most part), especially if it is important to them.

That's good. Its what I am trying to instill in my children (work hard).

I typically just skip such threads especially after the 2nd silly response. I refuse to help someone who won't try and it's normally a total waste of time trying to get them to try. There are real people that need help.

Spring break (and the brains are even further away on Spring break than their bodies).

Finals are getting close in some Florida schools, according to a friend of mine.

BWAAA-HAAA!!!! I've found that it's a sure indication that the economy is getting better. More companies are hiring (especially according to the number of calls from recruiters that I've gotten) and people who don't have a clue are getting jobs they really not qualified for.

To answer your question, there's a difference you can tell between people who really don't know how to ask the question they need to ask and the lazy sots just looking for a handout. Don't even bother replying to the one's looking for a handout. It'll just tick you off when they answer.
