Some people really shouldn't be allowed near SQL Server systems.
I would never let people near my SQL Servers. Only data are pemitted, not people.

Poll of the day.How many people support systems that do quarter end / month end processes?
If you raised your hand to the first question:
How many additional hours do you work in addition to your regular work week?
How much time during your regular work hours get taken away from your other duties due to this sort of support?
Yes
Too many
Too many

[\quote]
I used to, and it was a pain.
How many additional hours do you work in addition to your regular work week? I realized this was a problem early on and negotiated flexible hours. The after hours work usually was 5-10 a week after quarter end, so we would take a day off or work some half days the week before or after.
How much time during your regular work hours get taken away from your other duties due to this sort of support? Some during the day, but this was a "regular" duty in my mind. It comes every quarter, so anything else in progress gets slowed or shifted back.
