Some people really shouldn't be allowed near SQL Server systems.I too resemble that remark.
Not you either, but I just saw another who should be kept away from SQL Server.

I have no idea what you're talking about...
Never stop learning, even if it hurts. Ego bruises are practically mandatory as you learn unless you've never risked enough to make a mistake.

Steve, looks like you'll be coming to SQLSaturday in Phoenix. It will be a pleasure to meet you. Looking forward to it more now. 🙂
Thinking of going there myself.

Some people really shouldn't be allowed near SQL Server systems.Wasn't me. Haven't been near a real server all day.
Hmm... whatever the word 'near' means when it comes to servers. I don't even know where are the servers I am working with.
Relative term. You are near if a missile can destroy you and the servers at the same time.

Some people really shouldn't be allowed near SQL Server systems.Come on. I'm not that dangerous.
Not talking about you, at least this time.
Wow. I didn't realize you'd caught me on tape. Next time, I'll try to be more subtle in my chaos.

Sort of like the word "close" in regards to horse shoes, hand grenades, and nuclear weapons, right?

Poll of the day.
How many people support systems that do quarter end / month end processes?
If you raised your hand to the first question:
How many additional hours do you work in addition to your regular work week?
How much time during your regular work hours get taken away from your other duties due to this sort of support?
-------------
I just spent 17+ hours working yesterday, am exhausted after only about 3.5 hours of sleep, but still came in early this morning because Things Are Not Done. This is one of those rare days when I have to remind myself that I actually do enjoy my job. Because I do, otherwise I wouldn't still be here.
Except for this morning when I'd rather be doing anything but sitting in the Cubicle of Despair.
I so feel like someone put Dilbert and Alice in a blender, hit puree, and poured the result into my chair (and shoes).
