OMG! What a surprise! I told him that in my response back showing him how he could execute the stored procedure and see what values were being returned. What is going on, can nobody comprehend what is written anymore? I know I miss things at times, but please.

Maybe a step into the tent with the hippo;-)

You do know how that sounds, don't you? πŸ˜›

I didn't, but can sort of hear it now - squish squash πŸ˜€

    What is "google"?

    You should just Google that.

you need to be careful with that dont you know. putting Google into Google will break the internet due to a infinate feedback loop :w00t:

No. In fact, I Google Google using Google a googol amount of times every day and I get results about other people Googling Google while using Google. When I'm done Googling with Google I Google on Google Maps to find googols of maps about Google and then I Google Google Videos of Google which demonstrate Google and how to Google it. Then when I'm finally done, I Google with Google while I blog about having Googled using Google. If you Google a googol amount of times you will Google into my blog about me Googling about Google using Google to illustrate how my daily life of Googling works.

how many times can you mention google? http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Will_googling_Google_really_break_the_internet

Glad you agree, because I went back and read through everything again to see if I could figure out where I got annoyed. It was after he posted what he did. If he had asked questions before that I would not have had a problem. Asking for clarification would have made since if he felt overwhelmed and unsure of what steps to take.

You might have gotten annoyed, but I didn't see it come through in the thread. Seemed reasonable replies to me.

The guy/gal wasn't qualified and didn't understand what they were doing, and of course, didn't test anything. Not a lot you can do there when the fundamental understanding of what backup/restore does is not there.

Has anyone heard from Barry lately?

No, and it's funny you should ask about him because I was thinking of asking the same thing.

I tried it for a couple weeks, but it just seemed like I got some slightly funny results. Most of the time it was the same, and I didn't notice much, but enough times it was strange that I gave up and went back.

He was a crooner back in the 30s through the 60s. Very popular, made a lot of movies too.

My preferred search engine back in the day was Altavista. It seemed to provide more reliable results - especially for tech type queries.

Eventually I transitioned to google because it was faster.

I don't like the results from Bing. I see too many weird results.

I liked Altavista a lot at the time. Then it turned to "pornavista" and I switched to Google. πŸ™‚

No, seriously! It was impossible to have search results without porn sites within.

I didn't try, but I'm sure that searching for "particle accelerators" would have returned at least two porn sites on the first page.

I think it depends on what you are searching for really. I use both Bing and Google. I haven't really seen anything weird in my searches on Bing.
