The only valid countries are USA (except a few states), Canada (except Quebec), UK (except North Ireland) and Australia. (maybe one or two others too)

It's not good πŸ™ It should be open for all...

That almost never happens. For legal reasons, most competitions that you find on the Internet are restricted to USA only. (also probably because they don't want to ship the prize to another continent :-))

I believe one of the strange legal issues is being able to offer the cash prize (and winners accept). There are some strange legalities regarding this in some places.

I really hope that doesn't happen. I know it's a lot of money, but it's SPACE for God's sake!

I know, and I agree... but if by some miracle I had won, I might have had to take the cash. Some stupid requirement about needing to be physical fit to go into space... I probably wouldn't qualify.

  • Hmmm. When I click on the Forums link on the homepage, I get the maintenance page.

    However, the link http://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums - with a lower f - works.

The forums themselves obviously work (otherwise I wouldn't be posting here :-)).

It can't possibly be the site. Websites never have issues. (Or so my webmaster tells me). It's always PEBKAC errors. πŸ˜›
