Are the posted questions getting worse?

  • When operating systems and programs die, they crash. When database servers die, they throw-up, do a swan dive into oblivion, and make you cry like a 5-year-old for the next three nights.

    Not a fan of IE9 (32 nor 64)

I had to downgrade to IE8 in order for it to work consistently with apps and firewalls.

For the most part, I use Chrome.

Switched at home (vista) and work (Win7). No significant issues other than the interface change. Took me forever to realize where 'favorites' went. Hint: Star, upper right corner.

was the uninstall just via add\remove programs and you automatically get IE8 back?

I have chrome as well as a backup (its the DBA in me - don't shoot) and also to download files, unbelievably when i try to download files via IE it just hangs. Its a bug MS have no fix for, their own browser has incompatibilities with their own OS! Hoping upgrade to IE9 might fix it, but not too hopeful.

  • Wow. Only second question into the quiz and I'm ready to give up because I can't figure out SQL Monitor. That's depressing.

So much for doing the DBA in Space thing. @=(
