Wahoo! Just passed the MS 70-453 test, making me a MCITP for SQL 2008 just in time for 2012 to come out. πVery happy - Passing after paying for the test is much better than failing after paying for the test.
Chad
Very well done!

Congrats Chad! working on 70-451 next?
Thanks everyone. No, I took 70-454 in the spring, so I've finished the developer track. I'm thinking about trying for the BI track too, but I don't have a lot of experience there, so it would be much more difficult.

Yesterday I gently ticked someone on the fingers for cross posting.
I got a private message of him apologizing and he explained me that he had now read the forum etiquette and the article on how to post questions and that he adapted his post accordingly.
That was great. Unfortunately this doesn't happen very often...

Anyone care to take a look at this
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic1208130-391-1.aspx
He's then attempting to break down the problem in this
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic1208227-391-1.aspx
Its not clear exactly whats wanted on first reading, but I think it now boils down to either speed up a cross join on 100K rows, or devise another strategy.
Should be right up Jeffs Street :hehe:

Did anyone else read this comment and think "homework"? I'm not sure if this is a non-native English translation issue or a homework requirement...

I've glanced a couple of times at the first thread and never understood what he wanted. Has it been clarified? Or is it still just guess work?

I thought you were already IN the mountains. Do you just mean different mountains?
