Are the posted questions getting worse?

I didn't have any problems when I submitted my articles. I did it through the editor. I guess I got lucky.

It's been a while since I've submitted, but I didn't have any issues either.

Steve will rip my article into pieces for sure. I am not a writer. Therefore I expect to have problems with the Steve Editor as well. His comments are very good though. I like his reviewing process. Each time I learn a bit more about writing. 🙂

Never worked with Tony Davis have you? Steve's positively gentle in comparison. I sent something to Tony yesterday and between him and Phil Factor I expect it to come back almost completely rewritten.

Am I the only 1 who wants to answer... if you don't know that, then why are you teaching this stuff??

Haven't you forgotten the old saying - 'Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach'? :hehe: 😛

...and those who can't teach, teach gym.

Need an answer? No, you need a question

I got lucky. I just got my article republished by Tony and Phil. This article was already taken apart by 6 people when I initially submitted. Therefore Tony let it slide and published it without a review. 🙂 he has asked me to write another one and that one when I do present it I expect it to be ripped apart. 😀

That sounds like a good idea. How do we get hooked up with them for the ripping apart?

Never worked with Tony Davis have you?

I found Tony to be very easy to work with, and a very 'light' editor. No dramas.

Depends on whether he agrees with what you've written (facts, depth and phrasing) or not.

I guess. Perhaps I have just caught him on 'mellow' days.

    Could be.

I'm not saying he's a pain to work with. I love working with Tony. It's just that he can be strict as an editor (which is probably what an editor should be)

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
