Thanks! I noticed that the thread has 'drifted' after my post and have edited to at least not look too lame LOL

Rather than just drifting the thread surges wildly in random directions, often with many subthreads alive all at once, and an occassional shift back to the original topic does no harm, doesn't look at all lame, and may even do some good.

In fact, we prefer it this way. It really suits our multiple personalities.:-D

Well after all what is a board with out at least one thread that is full of asides, non sequiturs, and side conversations? Outside of stickying an 'Off Topic' thread there has to be at least one where general coversation can be held.

...I also type extremely quickly. So I find the process of typing on the screen really, really slows me down.
I find it useful for certain types of activities - a quick check on server status, checking in on dashboards, that type of thing. But, for me, it's a device where I consume information, not a device where I input information. And that's where I think it's really useful for a lot of folks, but just doesn't work for me.
I can actually reply to email faster on my Droid Bionic than I can on the iPad...

Now I'm off to find a way to deliver SSRS reports to the iPad... π
Just browse to the SSRS web page. You'll have to enter login info. Got it working at home.

We all knew this was coming....
Edit : And here's the kicker... Attachment # 10111. Only 1 bit off of being #1 all across the board :w00t:.

Just browse to <ServerName>/Reports_<InstanceName>/Pages/Folder.aspx
It will prompt for username/pw... just enter them in.

We do it via an app that runs on a domain that is exposed. That app has a redirect internal that will authenticate. It works, but there is room for improvement.

Any way to get an obfuscated copy of the app?
Are you using reportviewer control to make this trick?? I've had mitigated success with this in the past 9might have been my fault, but that's another story).

Sorry - no chance on that. Besides the app is java - and it has more bugs than .Net when trying to do this.
Not using reportviewer, but we are using the webservice calls to the xml files if that is of any help.
