Depends if you can work locally. Most programming jobs need to be done on site and 99% of them are in Montréal and Québec City.
There are a few DBA jobs advertised but they are almost always through consultation firms.

I've spent my entire career trying to take jobs I don't think I'm quite qualified for, that gives me room to grow and makes me much less likely to be bored.You shouldn't take those jobs on - they are too easy for you :-D. Do as I've done since 1978 and take on only jobs that your are absolutely unqualified for - you learn more that way, and build a reputation a lot faster too :-).
By "not quite qualified for" I tend to mean anything I can convince them I can do in the interview. 🙂
