Sigh.
It has to be stated twice. Otherwise, no one will read it. @=)
OMG. Am I actually caught up? Wow.
I think Paul was complaining they're one short. The old writer's and speaker's trick of doing things in threes. 😉

Hey can an execution plan expert (Grant?) take a look at this thread, http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic1181619-338-1.aspx. Interesting behavior noted in execution plan properties with SET ANSI NULLS.
I am NOT an expert, but I'll take a look. Get Paul. He's an expert.

@CraigDid you hear that Itzik Ben-Gan is teaching an advanced t-sql class here in Phoenix the week after pass? It's really pricey but I got my company to float the bill for me.
Good for you. I sat in on part of one of his PASS sessions in 2009 and my brain nearly exploded. I can't imagine a full week with him. I don't know where he comes up with the stuff he does.
Needless to say I'm envious. Adam Machanic has him coming to Boston too, but I can't afford it and Adam won't let me in for free.:-P
link? My cousin's in Boston, haven't seen her for a while, and the opportunity to cower in Itzik's mind-shadow would be awesome

We just need to be careful: once we're short on apostrophes, quite a few letters (including the "blank") will be in highe demand, too. (It's vs. it is not, won't vs. will not a.s.o.).Maybe then fantasy and sci-fi authors will stop inflicting things like B'Z'or'ef, K'chak'!'op and Ph'nglui Mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh on us.
Careful. I might do more of that just to get on your nerves specifically. @=)
hah! I just got a mental picture of Brandie's next novel with main character H'i G'ai'l...

On a completely unrelated, and sideways note, anyone seen Khan Academy? http://www.khanacademy.org/I'm enjoying some of the iTunesU stuff from the big name universities. An working my way through a course on astrophysics from Yale and then have a 6-part series on logical arguments from Cambridge University. Lots of other stuff, too much to download and definitely too much to easily watch.
You guys know about OCW, right? http://www.ocwconsortium.org/[/url]
free courses from universities around the globe, including MIT, Beijing, MSU, Arizona State, Notre Dame, etc.
I don't have any time, since I'm already going to school, but would definitely be doing this in my free time if I had any.
