Are the posted questions getting worse?

The request? I thought we were just hoping to break Steve's spirit in general.

CRAP, I've been doing it wrong again!;-)

Knowing Steve, it'll take far more than a few hundred forum notifications for that. Sanity, now that may be a different matter

Sanity? How can we break his sanity? No one possessing the least shred of sanity would edit a site with the contributors this site has! :w00t:

edit: how can I make a grammatical error in a comment that short???

    It takes practice

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Shouldn't it be Cirque Du SQLeil?

No doubt it's been mentioned before...it just always jars my brain a bit when I see it in your signature.

Well, "DU" is "of the" as in Circus of the Sun. Circus of (De) SQL (or SQL Circus) is good for me, and the eil was just for the pun of it.

I was fully expecting to see this thread over 30,000 by this time.

And an hour and a quarter later we still haven't got there. I'm surprised - I though by the time I got back from my important late evening meeting (in a local Irish music bar) 30,000 would have been far surpassed by people violating (as Gail and I were earlier) the spirit but not the letter of Steve's request not to count down (I probably should admit to having violated other spirits, including Talisker, Glenmorangie, and Bushmills during this non-count-down, but I didn't violate any letters.

Anyway, if I have it right this will leave the count at ....no, I mustn't say that number, but anyway, only a the littlest bit less than 10.

I'm with you Tom... I was out all day with the grandkids, and fully expected it to be > 30k by now also.

    Oh well... 7 to go!

(And just to drum up posting... didn't Steve and Red-Gate give something to the lucky guy that hit 20K?)

Yes, come on Jason - admit that the only reasonm you changed the U to an E was so that we wouldn't find your picture here.

Now that makes much more sense as an explanation!

Please let's not have quotes of every post that counts down from 95, 94, 93.

I'm going out of town for a few days. I'm hoping that I don't have 300 posts in this thread when I get back :w00t:

And down to 20. This will become an ugly contest 😀

So, we're ignoring Steve (again)? (and this makes 19...)

    Apparently so.

That's the whole fun of it! 😀
