I've hated horses ever since I had to ride them every day to get to the school bus. It was only up hill one way, but it was through 3 feet (1m) of snow, 35 degrees below 0 (F or C), in the dark, riding bareback 3 miles (5km) each way.I've been stepped on, kicked, head-butted, run through low branches, bitten, et al.
So, I hate horses. They seem to reciprocate the feeling.
I get along well with cats, dogs, iguanas, and birds, but not horses. Never had any trouble with the goats or the cow when milking them (though I hated doing so, it wasn't a get-along-with problem). But horses and me just didn't work out well.
I've been kicked by horses, run over by sheep, had a cat that enjoyed getting on top of the top shelf in the closet to piss on my clothes and attacked by fighting cocks.
I had the cat put down, ran the cocks till they wheezed and fainted. Of all of that, I don't like cats much but hated putting that cat down. I really do not like fighting cocks.

I was once bitten on the butt by a goose (goosed by a gander, to be precise).
My step-sister was chased all over the farm by love-crazed turkey toms (males) once. It was hillarious to everyone except her. Every time she'd scream (which was frequent), they'd go into a whole chorus of gobble-gobble noises that were just too funny for words to express it.
Alfred Hitchcock wasn't too far off in his movie about the descendents of velociraptors!

Is there a Service Broker guru around?
I could need some help on this thread: http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/FindPost1167028.aspx
I think I narrowed it down to the WMIEventProviderNotificationQueue associated with the
SQL/Notifications/ProcessWMIEventProviderNotification/v1.0 message type.
But since I never worked with WMI events I cannot help to find the process actually sending those messages.
It seems like the messages simply fill up the queue but never get received leading to a growing msdb. I currently try to talk the OP out of recreating msdb....

Gail, since you live in Africa, I can't help but wonder if you've had any interesting animal encounters...

We don't have lions, leopards, elephants or rhinos roaming the main cities. Even the rural areas are mostly free of big game.

In Cape Town we do get the occasional baboon rummaging through the dustbins though. Stay clear of them!

You get them in the Eastern Cape too. Up here it's mostly mongooses (mongeese?) crossing roads, Hadedas chasing cats and other such small events.

I guess the animals you do have in big cities are much more dangerous than any of those.
