I understand that Gail Shaw will be co-presenting with you...

Yup, Grant and I are doing comed^H^H^H^H^H execution plans as a precon on the Monday.

What are you going to be covering?

  • Kiara (7/20/2011)

Jeff, I owe you for your tally tables posts, if for nothing else. They saved me from pulling my hair out over a calendaring issue awhile back - and also helped me understand why the CTE's I'd used to fix the problem in my first try didn't help the underlying query's performance.

Getting feedback like that is better than any possible award for me. Thanks, Kiara. I'm very happy that I could help.

First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

So I guess that makes you the Micheal Jackson of SQL Server... still alive and breathing (which is not so obivous in your picture, but that's another story). 😛

Now THAT's funny! I thought my skin looked a bit Gray in the picture.

Excellent, we need more people. Just bear in mind it's not covered by the main conference admission, it's an additional fee (that and the tuesday pre-con both)

  • Speaking of DVDs, who gets the proceeds of the Summit DVDs? Do the presenters get any cut of that at all?

Can I register and pay and then not go? Can we register to precon and not the rest of it?.

So how I'm masterfully trying to avoid 6K in expanses :-D.
