    When I was a kid, all banks were limited to banking in a single state, and when that was repealed, or superseded by a new law, I think banking went way downhill. Add to that the changes that allowed investment banks to cross over into personal banking, and we have greed unchecked, and large conglomerates that have forgotten about customers.

    Even inside my bank, I see issues like that, and don't switch only because I don't see any of them doing any better.

    Yep, basically all the repeals of the rules put in place during the Great Depression that were so effective in preventing another one were removed and presto, another Great Depression.
