Damn , I knew I should have read thru the previous 2757 pages ๐Ÿ˜€

    Page 1384 is gold!

Is that the default 10 posts/page?

Yes, but I also just picked a number in the middle at random. : -)

I'm going to start a blog where I re-read and comment on The Thread. Maybe I can option the movie rights...I'll have to change my name for a catchy title..."Fred & Thread"

    *Edit - first entry:

Despite recommendations to the contrary from the inhabitants, page 1384 was remarkably pedestrian, and full of rampant spelling errors which render the overall effect incoherent. I would suggest that you skip this page in favor of a popcorn break, and give it half a thumbs up. What do you think, Roger?

  • Are any of you people going to be a GenCon, pretending to be geeky gamers?

I'm going to be running some Shadowrun events for Catalyst as well as signing books for 2 hours.

Sadly, no. We talk about going every year, but other things seem to get in the way.

    Shadowrun RPG or CCG?

Might be the only other way to get me to Indiana, but sadly, no, I won't be attending.

Don't think it's out in SA yet. Do want to watch it when it gets there.

I did. It was better than I had hoped, not as bad as I feared. They did a pretty good job with the specials and didn't mangle the origin too badly, it stayed mostly intact, in fact. The guy playing Hal Jordan did a decent job as did the girl playing Carol Ferris.

I didn't see it in 3D, so I can't comment about that. But it was pretty good, all things considered. I wasn't too impressed by the trailers, they left me thinking the movie had a good chance of being a bomb, but it turned out okay in the end.

It's been so long since I've played Shadowrun, I decided to check out the web site and see if they had improved the system (which it seems like they have). Got to reading the Quick Rules and Food Fight. I see they updated the Stuffer Shack a little bit which amused me. I always get a laugh out of reading that module. Gun fight in a 7-11!

  • Saw three movies in the last two weeks, a record for me since I think I've only seen 3 or 4 the whole year before that.

    - Hangover 2, ehhh, OK

    - Judy Moody, not bad

    - Popper's Penguins - pretty good

I do want to see the Lantern, probably once my son gets back Saturday we'll pick a day
