Are the posted questions getting worse?

  • I might actually enjoy working for people who knew what it meant. 😀

"OK you <insulting term removed> there's a new kid on the block and he doesn't stand for BS"

Obviously not... the Back Street Boys are a totally different boy-band than New Kids On The Block. 😀

(Of course, neither BSB or NKOTB are even close to boyhood any more. )

I for one would get a lot of amusement from watching the new kid step into the ring with some of you heavyweights.

So weird - an old guy who likes boy bands...I'm flabbergasted.

I thought you already had "Certified" added to your resume.

Yeah - not too sure what to think of it - much the same as the alphabet.

Who is it? To me, looks like a really old, bad pic of Sinatra?

Gail isn't talking about the avatar. She's talking about the logos in the .sig file.

Wasn't talking about the avatar pic. Earlier today his sig had pictures for each of the certs listed.

To quote from a thread I've been involved:

Also, I will start to participate on the site more often. It has always been useful and seems to be very helpful and friendly.

What else can we ask for?

I just stumbled onto the thread. You may have created another SSC Addict. Very nice feedback from all perspectives!

There will be a pop quiz on The Thread for all newly arrived members, tomorrow. You will be expected to recite all posts in it verbatim.

Either that or welcome aboard, and ignore the ramblings you want to ignore and participate in the ones you like. 🙂

Pop quiz will also contain a recital of all acronyms in Gus' signature.

But must be sung to the music of "We Didn't Start The Fire"

Far away is close at hand in the images of elsewhere.

I never said I liked them... My real favorite is Pink. 😉

But I do have a younger wife, and I work with a younger woman who explained these things to me.

  • Our "real world financial problem" individual sent me a note that he got a "real answer" on the MSDN forums.

He ignored the fact that someone on the thread said it was homework, and his "real answer" was a hint from Erland to look at unpivot.
