Are the posted questions getting worse?

    Jim,

If I've read things right, you're going to the Summit? Do you know that Thursdays up there is "Kilt Day"? Grant started it... he can fill you in on it!

You've pretty much nailed it. Day 2 of the Summit is Kilt Day. Day 2 this year is Thursday. Wear a kilt, traditional or not, for no other reason than because we can and it's fun. Two years ago it was three people. Last year it was about 25. Hopefully this year we'll break 50 or more.

I don't have a kilt anymore. Mine was provided by the band and in the bands clan (Royal Stuart since we were a police band). My family's clan is Gordan.

So did 25 people rent a kilt (except Tom) or do most folks own one? What about the socks (and sock 'dressing' flag looking things which I forgot the name of), Skain Du, and sporran?

What's with the watermark on our SSC ??

Is it webmaster fun, or is SSC changing logo ?

Where do you see this watermark?

Ah, that would make more sense! Buying a drink for everyone on this site would be kind of silly, now wouldn't it. πŸ™‚

Though if she did go that way, I'd let someone else have my microsip.

    The client-from-hell is no more.

Hopefully that doesn't mean the same for your general employment? Either way, still less stressful.

Never stop learning, even if it hurts. Ego bruises are practically mandatory as you learn unless you've never risked enough to make a mistake.

That was fun to watch. I still have some pics of the kilt on my phone.

You gonna be wearing a kilt or something similar from Indian tradition?

I am tempted to wear it. But I am not sure. Depending on the climate I will decide. πŸ™‚

    Climate?

We are talking about Seattle, right? And not during July/August?

It'll be rainy and gray. Seattlites don't tan, we rust. The city flower is mildew, the city animal is the slug. (Yes, I grew up there. But I got out early for bad behavior.)
