What else can we ask for?

    To be paid?

Sure, you can ask for it. But I've made the experience not always to get what I ask for. 😉

You're not being paid??? Hmm, that's strange, I thought we all (what Steve? Shut-up? oh, that's a special deal? oh, okay...)

There's a free version. Check the download page for purchase details. It doesn't say what limitations, if any, the free version has, it just implies (on the purchase page) that there are some.

Lots of small-time start-up software companies look like this one. Personally, I'd want to see source code or have it analyzed and certified by CNet or someone, before I'd put it on a production system.

So Wayne, how much is it that you're paying Steve?

(which is also not accepting voicemails right now, but that's a different story. Makes it hard to get callbacks from fence/deck contractors though)

Ha! Maybe you'll all have to post on The Thread. Let me guess, your phone doesn't do Internet either?

I'm pretty sure these newer phones still have some kind of 'calling' (last century) or 'texting' (last decade) feature. Everyone might still be backward compatible with your device.

There's a limitation on backward compatibility though. What was it? Ah yes, you need some sort of UniqueID that is all numbers with no @ before it. Some call it a Phone Number. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phone_number

We just got new desk phones here at work. The company had someone come in and train everyone on the spiffy (actually totally common) features of the phone. The only interesting new feature is that when someone leaves you a voice message, a .wav file is forwarded to your email as well.

I asked her if anyone had yet said "What's a dial tone?" She said not yet, but I'm sure it is coming.

Okay, now I'm going to have to contact our support desk and report that my phone broken. It "makes a noise while I'm putting in the number to call". Support-ticket being fired up now!

Well, I'd already asked, wouldn't be as funny that way. Besides I'm wanting it to come from a youngin' who's never had a land-line.

I just stumbled onto the thread. You may have created another SSC Addict. Very nice feedback from all perspectives!
