I'm thinking of adding all of my credentials (and I do mean all) to my sig for a short period.
Will mean that probably half my posts will be shorter than my sig though :hehe:

Steve - now we see what you mean about blogging about your car. Just mentioning 'MPG' brings people out of the woodwork with great passion.LOL, yep, people get passionate.
On the other hand, this is a good spot for it.
I love the Suburban we have. It's nice to have that room and cruise, but I can almost see the gas gauge going down, so I rarely drive it. It's a nice spare when we need it.
I wish we would have more high mileage cars, and I know there are some rules that are increasing car averages for manufacturers, so maybe we'll get more high mileage diesels and other cars here in the next decade
I'm probably going to be trading in my 98 Pathfinder (270,000 miles) this fall for a second Prius. I'm looking forward to the improved mileage on the 3 gen models. I'm also going to try to test drive the Nissan Leaf and the Chevy Volt, if I can find them for a test drive in my market. I'm not sure either of those will meet my needs, but I'd love to try them out. If I can get the Prius as a plug-in, I'd love to.

The one the thread started with 3 years ago, or the current ones being discussed (26000 posts later)?

Yeah, but the OCD one should be repeated. Lots of times. Repeated a lot. Like lots of times, really. Repeated. (I'll stop now before I give myself more of a headache.)

Could 42 possibly be the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Considering that we haven't defined either length or time units, I say it's PRECISELY that. For every unladen swallow, African or European!
