Okay, that most likely puts you some place downunder, Australia or New Zealand. Which, perchance?Clicked on profile you have, yes?
Need for that I had not. Previous employer has offices world wide, in Sydney one was located. Spoke of Tuesday morning you did and Monday afternoon it is for me. Logical deduction it simply was. 😉

Prefer to ask, I do. Friendlier, I think.
My family and I would love to come to Australia and New Zealand for a vacation. The only thing that keeps us from such a trip, unfortunately, is the lack of funds for such a trip.

Ah from New Zealand you are.
Tomorrow is a big day for India and New Zealand at Hamilton. What a day it will be. 🙂

Indeed. I have a dream of doing a roller coaster trip around the US. Well, that and a drunken wine tour, but that would probably just be California and then France and Italy. They remain dreams because of funds (lack thereof).
The exchange rate is usually quite good for converting $US to $NZ or $AUS. So the purchasing power of your dollar goes up. Sadly, the purchasing power of my Kiwi dollar goes down. 🙁 Especially true for visiting Europe!
Ah well, another 20 years and I might be able to afford it. Hmmm. Do they let 60 year olds on roller coasters?

Only if you are taller than the signs that say "You must be THIS high to... "

.... and sign the waiver that says you will not hold the amusement park responsible for any heart attack, stroke, back or neck injuries, smallpox, pimples, constipation, cavities, dengue fever, ad nauseam arising out of or in connection with your decision to ride the aforesaid roller coaster etc etc blah blah blah res ipsa loquitur
The U.S. is an overly-litigious society.

At Busch Gardens in Tampa, there are signs all over the place that you can't ride if you have high blood pressure or any sort of history of heart conditions. That may apply at 60, or may not.

Amusement parks?
THE THREAD goes on and on. And once again, a day off, and I'm lost.
March 16, 2009 at 3:52 pm
No, we've moved on from amusement parks to litigation. Although we might take a sudden side turn for wine tours.
Didn't you bring your map?

I'm all for wine tours, but only if we include New Zealand and Australia as well. Maybe Argentina too. Obviously, I drink a lot from the Southern Hemisphere: (Note to self. Buy lottery tickets.)
Gail, do you have any recommendations from your part of the world?

Wine tours of NZ and Australia? Been there, done that. 😀 Well, I have one more area (Melbourne) left to do in Australia.

Hey Steve, you may need to implement some functionality to lock down Author's Names in the forums.
Something peculiar is going on here.
The thread was started by "Mh" who is currently "SSC Enthusiastic", but then another Mh (Forum Newbie) joined in. The Enthusiastic Mh claims no knowledge.

If you're into wines, you absolutely must not miss the Stellenbosch wines (Cape Town, South Africa). They've won awards world-wide.
