Are the posted questions getting worse?

    Any word on when the Email delay will be fixed?

    According to a recent tweet, 'before tomorrow'. They have 37 minutes and counting before tomorrow. Better get working. πŸ˜€

    Or did they mean tomorrow UTC? That gives them an extra couple of hours.

    Looks like they made it in time for your tomorrow. I'm receiving the emails fairly quickly now.

    37 minutes and counting ... before "tomorrow" just references another day, allowing those folks another 24hrs πŸ˜€ (not that I think it's meant that way. If so, I would have expected "maΓ±ana" instead of "tomorrow")

    I still like that story.

  • The UK had holidays Fri-Mon, so I struggled to get someone to come in and check on things this weekend. I managed to get someone to kick the mail servers a few times today and some things went through. No idea if it's fixed or not.

    D'oh, didn't realize SSC was hosted in the UK. Learned something new today.

    Never stop learning, even if it hurts. Ego bruises are practically mandatory as you learn unless you've never risked enough to make a mistake.

    Yep, Rackspace in the UK. Also, my IT support group is in Cambridge, so they are semi-responsive outside of UK business hours if there's something I can't do.

    Guess putting here is as good as any...

    @steve-2 Jones,

    I've noticed some changes in the forum. First, the code windows are usually too big and that includes the code windows in articles.

    The second thing is that if you're typing a lengthy post and you just happen to move the mouse over the smily face bar, the damned thing automatically moves you to the top of the post. Sure, I can get over that, but, MAN! It's really annoying.

    The third thing is that the forum seems slower overall. Most other folks with shiney new machines probably won't notice but my 9 year old desktop notices. Wad-ya-do? Move to a 64 bit rack? πŸ™‚

    Thanks, Ron. You are the MAN! I really appreciate all the performance testing you've been doing on this. It would appear that there's a new splitter in town. πŸ™‚

    Steve said he'd try to publish the article this week.
