I agree with Jack. I do know Jacksonville has several contractors who do that to people, though, and that the Better Business Bureau hereabouts is almost useless in this regard. Short of suing the guy for breach of contract, I'm not sure what your other options are.

Is it just me or does the constant resizing of the new ad 'Click here to monitor SSC' annoy the hell out of the rest of you, too?
There's a new ad?

It sits brave and silent in the upper right corner without any intention to constantly resize on my browser (FireFox).
Is it possible that "someone" permanently hovers over the upper right corner? π

Not exactly, but that little white triangle is in the upper left for me. Wonder if we're seeing the same thing.

Using Chrome and it sits in the Upper Right for me and only changes size on hover.

Interesting, mine's in the upper right corner. I was actually impressed when I accidently hovered over it and it popped open.
I'm using Chrome also.

Ah hah, found the problem. God bless IE9. *kabaam* I needed to click the 'compatability view' icon.

I'm using IE8, upper right corner, doesn't resize unless I hover.

Top right corner - looks like a page corner turned down

Top left corner for me (I'm using FireFox). It is slightly annoying, but not enough to get the hell out of me. π

Your hell must be deeper rooted. Mine flies out at a whim. π
As I mentioned briefly, I did figure it out. It's something to do with the newer versions and needing to be compatable with older code, apparently.

I figured out what the ad was, but the fact that I hadn't really noticed it just means it hadn't bothered me.
I did wonder why the corner was turned down, but not enough to mouse over it.

If memory serves me correctly, that folding down corner was a long time ago (even before the timewarp function) that was added to the site back in the days when Steve and his compadres needed some advertising income to keep the site up and running. Now do not press me for an exact time period.. my memory is not that good.
Ask Steve about it, I think he will recall its history

At one point we had a page peel there that opened and covered up the entire screen. I think it was from Quest, but it was definitely a $$$ thing. Probably circa 2006-2007.
This one is for SQL Monitor, and there is some hope that other large customers from Red Gate will implement the page peel. So far it hasn't annoyed me, and likely will stay. That corner is surprisingly attractive to advertisers.
