Personal side note: OMGWTFBBQ. Today is annoying. I've got a failure in QA I can't reproduce in Dev with the same load files. Now I need to go through the entire schema with a fine toothed comb to figure out what didn't get into a rollscript.
Red Gate's SQL Compare & Computer Associates Erwin (there's a compare tool in there somewhere) are wonderful tools.

Personal side note: OMGWTFBBQ. Today is annoying. I've got a failure in QA I can't reproduce in Dev with the same load files. Now I need to go through the entire schema with a fine toothed comb to figure out what didn't get into a rollscript.I need a reversed trigger paintball marker today.
Just to add to the fun, I have a dental appointment in an hour to make things even more... pleasant.

Hey -this is Grant. Did you try Red Gate's SQL Compare? It might be worth using the free trial - load it up, point it at both databases and sit back and wait....
Thanks Grant, this is Gail. I thought about it but the war to install 'new software' around here is... uncomfortable. Lockdown from on high. If I use my katana as a bargaining tool anymore HR said they'd reprimand me for having shinier things then the rest of the techies and making them jealous.
