    Star Trek (the Original)

My mother loves both that and Thunderbirds.

Gail, Low blow aimed at Lynn... ๐Ÿ™‚

I remember Star Trek Original though.

I remember ST original. Isn't that on TVLand now?

    That's the thing.

I remember watching both The Monkeys and Original Star Trek as a kid, but they were both in reruns at that point. And I think they were for Brandie too. Starblazers was on around the time those reruns were playing.

Of course, I also remember watching Get Smart, McHales's Navy, Sgt. Bilko, Gilligan's Island, Life of Riley, Car 54, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie, etc... but that was all reruns when I was a kid.

The shows that more accurately date me are the ones I watched in First Run: WKRP, Taxi, M*A*S*H, Magnum PI, Rockford Files, Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica, Bob Newhart, Mary Tyler Moore, Happy Days, etc...

Of these (Get Smart, McHales's Navy, Sgt. Bilko, Gilligan's Island, Life of Riley, Car 54, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie, etc...) I probably saw Sgt Bilko and Car 54 as reruns and remembering them, but the others I saw and remember as first run shows. You could also include Gomer Pyle USMC, The Adamms Family, The Munsters, Lost in Space.

Go Uncle Herman!!! (Extra points for anyone who can figure that one out. Kit, you don't qualify.)

Stefan's list sounds like what I remember seeing. Used to have every episode of M*A*S*H memorized.

The Munsters - easy cheesy lemon squeezy.

MASH is the best of the list so far. I remember all of those shows except Bilko and Life of Riley. I must have watched them all in rerun though.

I watched them all. MASH and Happy Days were regular shows in my life. Who else remembers Saturday night's with Captain Stubing and Tattoo! "De plane! De plane"

I watched those as well. So cheesy that they were fun to watch. What a dichotomy, Mr. Roarke and Khan!

    I took a look and made a couple comments/suggestions. I think it's a good topic.

  • Shifting gears real hard, I'm finally done not only testing a fix to the Tally Table delimited string splitter performance problem, but I've also finished the article on it. IIRC, Wayne, Ron, and one other person (please remind me of who that was) volunteered to give it all the once over. If you have the time to do some testing and maybe check an article for errors, let me know and I'll send you a package in the email. I'd like to be able to submit it to Steve by Friday, Apr 15th.

    Thanks, folks.

Done. Thanks, Ron. I think you'll like the way the test script runs... there's almost nothing for the tester to do except copy the results grid to a spreadsheet and email the spreadsheet to me.

I also sent you a copy of the article. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Tests using SQL 2005 and 2008 completed and e-mailed to you at 8 PM this date.

Now will slowly read the article, and more than likely send that to you either very late this evening or tomorrow AM.

    Happy Monday. :hehe:

    HA! As if.

Cluster down again. Much scrambling to get things working before the BU showed up.

Does it count as murder if I'm only killing a computer? (I'm having visions of Office Space and a certain printer).
