Well, it looks like I (finally) got a QotD question that didn't have everyone up in arms over it... whew!Well, if you want, we can certainly nitpick it :hehe:
Yes, wouldn't it have been a better question if the option "sp_configure 'contained database authentication', 1; RECONFIGURE WITH OVERRIDE; " had been included? I might have got it wrong then. π

Whoa! What? You're a youngster and you don't live in a cave, how is it that an old <insert inappropriate term here> like myself knows what rickrolling is?Somehow, Grant, I think I'm older than you are. @=) But thanks for the compliment.
I'd take that bet. I haven't broken 50 yet, which is why I love having Jeff & Allen White around, so someone is older than me, but I'm generally 10 years older than the oldest people I'm hanging around with at these events. Some of the punks like Johnathan Kehyias & Jess Borland can be down right frustrating they're so young.
Well Grant, you can add another one to the older than you bucket. π
Excellent. You're invited to SQL Rally & the PASS Summit... And SQL In The City and the SQL Cruise and Connections... If I think of any more, I'll let you know.
Great, now if I could just find someone to pay me to go to these events (and for them as well!).

Become an evangelist for RedGate. Then you could take frequent vacations like Grant:hehe:

If you do, let me know!
Then I'll just have the problem of taking vacations without my fiancee.

Going for sainthood, you two? I'm not sure there's much I could add to that, except for "Let me repeat this until you understand it."

I think maybe I should write something about it and try to spell it out in a blog??

Couldn't hurt for the rest of us. I'm not an AD admin by any means but I get the basic concepts. I like mah pictures, though. I'd say idiot proof it but they always seem to make a better idiot.
