Hm - I'd love to know which brand it was, since the stuff I've used (albeit on fairly small areas) seemed to work fine. If you can spare the time to dig the info up, that would be useful.I asked and they said it was Rustoleum. It was facilities that applied it so they were not professional painters, but they weren't IT folk either :-D. Since trying the paint they've moved on to either using bathboard and framing around it or painting the wall white and attaching a sheet of glass in front of it (nice effect, especially when it's spaced a small distance from the wall).
Chad
Yeah, that latter method can look quite nice.
Maybe you could suggest this brand of paint to them and they can try it on a small test area. If it works it'll be cheaper.

I like the glass idea. I wonder if that's feasible in price for a home office... hmmmmm....

If plexiglass would work with the markers, it is stronger and cheaper.

Scotty would suggest transparent aluminum.

Doesn't work with dry-erase markers.

It's the "I'm attending" logo, not the "I'm speaking" one.

And thanks to the magic of the internet, it always has been! (as far as anyone can see...)

Topic Change. But Steve, you can delete this post if it is against any rules of the forum. I know that some of the people hanging around here is looking to find jobs and that is why I put it here. But feel free to delete this.If anyone is interested in going to Ireland and work for 80K Euros, let me know. I have a recruiter who has been trying to get me to go there. It is a Sr DBA position. I do not have any other details. I was not interested so I told him no.
There is also another position in Panama for 90 K US for the position of DB Manager. I have a feeling that both the jobs are in Sports betting industry.
You know, I wonder if all the girls there will fawn over an American accent like the Americans girls do for the Irish ones.... Hmmmm... tempting thought. That and it's Ireland. Bit breezy in winter for me though.

Jeez, that guy (or girl) is lost. One more response and then I'm done. I'm the Scary DBA, not the Saintly DBA.
Oh, him. Yeah, I gave up on him first time I encountered him after a few times going in circles with him. Gave it the old college try but I think it's ESL difficulties coupled with a lack of knowledge that's really got him done for here, add to that he can be downright lazy about asking for help.

It's the same questions over & over with ZERO indication that he listened to a word you said in the earlier responses. He just wants the "go faster" button and I can't provide it.
