Are the posted questions getting worse?

  • I would like to get back to the Columbus SQL Saturday, but it will depend on my schedule over the next month. Already life is busy, and not sure I can come out in June.

No chance for me. I just started a new job and used up some serious brownie points on getting to SQLSaturday #60.

Are you going to make it to 70-whatever in Columbus? I totally flaked on you guys for the Cleveland one, wasn't a good time for me personally, much as I would have loved to meet you all.

I dun no... DE-troit boy goin ta ohia mur dan wonce in da sames yer mite git da kin folk resluss en tha lak.

Heh... no one even noticed recently... I slipped over the 24,000 post line, Gail topped 22,000 posts, and Gus has put the hammer on 10,000 posts.

    Well done, ladies and gents!

Actually, I think of it as having achieved "hrair" posts.

Ha! Which one of us is Fiver?

"Fiver" just means "smallest of a batch that's too numerous to be worth counting" ("hrairoo" to transliterate from Lapine). So, who's got the most "inverse-height advantage" of those who have more posts than is probably healthy? Maybe Jack or Kit?

(To totally rip off Ron White, I'm between 5'10" and 6'1", depending on which convenience store I'm leaving. So it's not me.)

Who died and made you El-Ahrairah?

My colleagues were wondering why I started to read it out loud :w00t:

  • Paul, are you out there? Are you all right?

I vaguely remember that you said you were from ChristChurch, NZ, is that correct?

My condolences for anyone reading this thread who has family or friends in ChristChuch. I hope they are all well after the earthquake.

I don't know. Detroit boy going to Ohio more than once a year might get the kin folk (relatives) restless and the like.

Or at least that's what I get out of my Dilbert Jargonator when I feed it in.

I'm sure Gail could get us just as lost very easily.

Fine, thank you, but I live 50km north of Wellington, on the North Island, so I am 350km away. A very sad day.
