    Definately a PBCAC programming error.

    (problem between chair and computer)

I've always heard of it as a PEBKAC error. "Problem exists between keyboard and chair."

I had always just referred to it as an User Interface Error. This requires re-seating the user.

  • They're doing some remodeling in our office and decided to get rid of a storage closet to make room for more offices. I was asked to make sure there wasn't anything that my department needed in there. Deep in the back of the storage closest I found a time capsule...SQL Server 6.5 "5-User system". The disks or cd's were missing but it contained all the manuals. The best part was the poster of the system catalog. Compared to the Last system catalog I got from sql server magazine it is really simplistic.

    ...

Are you trying to imply that a lump of plastic, metal, and toxic semiconductors can't understand that it's supposed to do what I want, not what I told it to?

It's not limited to a lump of plastic. There are people showing exactly the same behavior.

Are those some kind of androids then? 😀

    Those are people?????

You should hang it, like a museum piece.

Interesting. It worked in Preview, then didn't work in the post. Now it works, with the quotation marks removed from the URL tag. Does the original work for you now?

  • Is something wrong with me that, as much as I'd like to win a free seat on SQLCruise (RE: Idera's little contest), that it's not incentive enough for me to join Facebook?

EDIT: Of course, the only reason I want to go on this cruise is for the Cruisiness of it (Caymans, Mexico). The SQL Classes themselves are for beginners.

Last time I checked, I had a Facebook account, but I don't think I've ever used it for anything.

(LOL: I typoed it into "Farcebook", and now I've got that stuck in my mind as an idea for something.)
