For anyone following the earlier infringment discussion, some sleuthing around SSC finally revealed the blog owner. A brief PM conversation seems to have dealed with that issue.

Happy New Year! Gods, New Years is a mixed blessing for me. It's also my birthday. This last one was a biggie to me. 35 years old. I expected to be somewhere else at this point in my life. *cracks knuckles* I'z got wurkz ta due.

Well done Craig. Wonder how Dave B got on with his? IIRC they were more extreme and obvious plagiarism.

No joy on either front, both still there

It really is like launching a nuclear strike, but if you're not getting satisfaction, I'd tweet about it.

Good luck with that. Anything a non-tweeter can do, post it up. This stuff makes me very cross.

Great googly moogly, how many places did I post that silly thing.

    Thanks.

Good news is, even if people are going there, they get redirected, but eventually, I want to stop paying for that.

Well I just followed you and Grant, so I can snark back on Twitter too. Because there's just not enough SQLSnark in this world.

Hey! Someone should grab that as a user name! @=)

I've toyed with the idea a few times in my mind. I even have a Chief of Staff already selected.

Chief of Staff: Howard Stern in a Donald Duck costume at all public functions.

    ...

Can you think of any BETTER way to make the American People actually listen to an entire presidential press conference, instead of just whatever sound bites are fed to them?

And thanks all for the birthday wishes.

Jeff: The alternative comes from when I was younger and I'd get the birth-mas presents. Nowadays, everyone parties on my birthday... it's just not my party and I usually get to bring my own cake. πŸ˜‰

No, he might be Press Secretary. My Chief of Staff is someone who would help keep me focused on what needed to be done, not making sure the people heard what I said instead of 30 second sound bites.

...and if he becomes either one, I'm moving to Canada.

Following you now too (and no, I don't follow those who follow me, I'm about 1:4 the other way).
