Nono, it was an attempt to be accurate. C'mon, get it right. 😛
And now, she's gonna shoot me. 😀

I don't think she's the type that would shoot you. I'd watch out for sharp blades instead. 😀

No worries. I have my humor bat handy. One of the nice side effects of constantly being a joker is you can get away with a few comments others would be slammed for.
Nope, I never do anything with a plan. Life just ends up in my favor by accident. It's good to be the target... errr... crap.

Nyuck nyuck nyuck, try it again Moe. That was fun!
I did check, offhand, just because of the shortness. I had a curiousity. Then I took off the kid's gloves. 😉

It depends on the question:
"Hello, I need technical support. Do you have the IQ necessary to tie your own shoes and feed yourself breakfast?"
"Hello, I have a technical issue I need help with. Are you the kind of moron who ends up on support calls because you can't qualify for anything better paying?"
"Hello, I've got an issue with your company's product. Were you hired this morning, like the last guy I spoke to?"
I guess the first two are disrespect, but the third invites the answer "Yes, buut I was an expert user for 10 years before they hired me today".

I have to wonder if this thread is encouraging people to respond more harshly to articles, posts, etc. Certain we've seen an uptick amongst ourselves of bashing other posters. But today I see this in response to one of Jeff's articles.Mike McIver (12/7/2010)
Really . . . I don't know where to start. <CommentCutting> This article is an example of how poor coding propagates...
I've seen that sort of attack on Jeff's articles quite often; there are those, unfortunately, who don't believe in writing whatever works efficiently with checks to make sure you know (before it causes any problems) if it stops working. A pity, but we have to live with them. What you quote is fairly mild compared to some of the nonsense that we've seen before. (Incidentally, a URL would be useful to save messing around with google - especially as google returns no results for what you quote).

I am trying to keep my word that I gave to Jeff. I am writing an article on how to have successful net meetings. 🙂 If I dont write it, I might get a frozen Pork chop launched at me. 🙂
Only one frozen posk chop???
Optimist! 😛

I've had similar comments on a couple of my articles too. It's not a recent thing.
