Looks like Mangal deleted some of his posts as they are only now recorded in the quotes other posters used.
I hate it when people do that.

I've seen one before. Happened when one guy swore at me (literally) for making a suggestion. He posted after I went to bed and by next morning there were almost 20 posts by other people in defence.Looked very much like this one, just less polite, with the guy convinced he was in the right.
Oooh, I'm sorry I missed it. I never get to use any of my favorite four letter words.
You mean the ones people avoid using....

PORE

Well that one just yacked me off but good. He may as well be quoting from my posts because I'm "guilty" of all the "crimes" he listed. But hey, don't take it personally, I just think you stink. Shove it...
And this from someone who's a moderator over at MSDN.... http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/profile/?user=Mangal%20Pardeshi
I would have expected better behaviour

I dont think he still realizes that he was rude. I guess when he looks in the mirror, he sees two wings on his shoulder blades and Halo over his head...;)

Boy, I missed all the fun last night... and missed free beer to boot. That's what I get for paying attention to my wife. :w00t:
Face it people, we all produce a vacuum. (I'm avoiding the use of a four-letter word.) Might as well just shut down the website, salt down the porkchops, fold our tents, and fade away into the desert in the footsteps of St. Lynn. But before the exodus begins....
Steve, I oppose the "answered my question" flag, for one reason. It seems as if OPs often abandon a thread before the conversation gets really interesting. I suspect that some of them are taking the first technique that gives them the results they want and not worrying about the rest of it. But when people start discussing pros and cons, it is enlightening for those of us who think we have a clue, but lay no claim to guru-hood. Do you really want the OP, who needed help in the first place, to be the one to declare that the definitive answer has been posted?
And this from someone who's a moderator over at MSDN
Maybe he wanted to be a moderator over here to show everyone how it's done.

Intersting.
It seems Mangal Pardeshi is an MVP in SQL Server
http://www.microsoft.com/india/mvp/indiamvp.aspx#MangalPardeshi
Mangal is an E&TC Engineer from Pune University. He started his career as an ERP Technical Consultant in 2007. Currently he works as a BI Developer + SQL Server DBA in Business Insights Consulting, Pune. His core areas of expertise are Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. He also possesses expertise in Database Administration, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and T-SQL. He is an active participant and moderator in MSDN SQL Server forum. He is also one of the top answerer in MSDN SQL Server Forums
Presumably in the MSDN forums people just give answers without trying to find out why.

He started his career as an ERP Technical Consultant in 2007.
Call me old-school, but I cannot understand someone STARTING their career as a consultant.

Holy smokes, a moderator and an MVP and he's that much of a jerk? I thought you had to be... you know... helpful... to make MVP?
The worst thing is, from his continued posts, he's just irritated as hell at all of us and doesn't acknowledge in any way that he was in the wrong. We just misinterpreted his perfectly innocent comment... Right. Pull this leg, it plays Jingle Bells.

QUESTION!! How does someone who started their career in 2007 become an MVP???

You have to admire the courage of his convictions... Deleting his own posts so that people won't throw his own words back at him?
Perhaps someone should visit the MSDN site and return the favor by making a few comments about HIS helpfulness. π

Question from lynn is pretty good. Maybe then I too can become a MVP in such a short time as well. π
