    Get well soon, mate.

Did I miss something more than the burnout?

Our DBA caught some news on Twitter:

"Jack Corbet is in hospital, they suspect he has had a heart attack, he seems ok as he was on twitter last night"

    Get well soon, Jack.

I'll repeat on Twitter later, but definitely I hope you feel better soon, Jack. Hope it was just angina instead of an actual coronary.

Agreed. I look forward to hearing what actually happened and will be hoping for the best for Jack.

C***. Hope it's minor, and I'll be praying for a speedy recovery.

I hope that it's not related to the burnout he was posting about last week.

  • I was about leaving a party-note since Steve's out until the 29th (got a out-of-office reply for a reported thread).

But given the latest news I don't think it's appropriate...

I wish Jack a speedy recovery and a load of extra tether for his family to support him!!

"Jack Corbet is in hospital, they suspect he has had a heart attack, he seems ok as he was on twitter last night"

Little bit of an exaggeration perhaps...

    From twitter (Jack's tweets):

"Not having a good day. In the ER because I was light-headed, flushed, and had chest discomfort. Doesn't appear to be bad."

"Being admitted for observation and probably a stress test."

"Feeling pretty good this morning. Fake eggs an plain grits not so good. No evidence of heart problem. Just high cholesterol. New diet"

Great! Shame about having to change the diet, but much better than the alternative.

  • Latest tweet this morning from Jack indicating that there was no heart problems, cholesterol is high so a change in diet. Also, he was fighting a headache.

So, overall, it sounds like things aren't as serious as it could have been.

    Stay well, Jack.

  • Get well Jack. November is just not your month I guess. First your son broke his hand now you are having high cholesterol.

Considering what we initially thought, this is good news. I'll be keeping him in my thoughts and prayers while he's in the hospital.
