Well, I'm off to give my first presentation of "Comparing Tables Variables and Temporary Tables" to my UG tonight. Wish me good tidings, smooth talk, and all the other stuff you need for public speaking.

Don't try saying 'statistics' 5 times in under a minute.

C***. I've got one demo where I'm showing how the last of statistics treats table variables as having only one row. I'll have to be careful on that one!!!

OK, this is totally irrelevant but I was reading through the thread and noticed that this post was at 8:50pm on 11/11/2010. I was born at 8:50pm on 11/11/1960. So, for me, it's Golden πŸ˜‰

    On another topic...

How many of you have to fight with the Network admins to get something done? For example, not to block Microsoft sites (Technet, Support) in your test environment. Mind you, not production but test.

Yup - in more cases than that and with different jobs as well.

His attitude has got to me now. JFDI is what we get paid for.

I used to wish for a JFDI key on the standard keyboard.

It would have the Nike logo on it, and instantly make whatever application was taking me too literally Just Do It.

Around here, instead of Just Do It, it would be Git 'er Done

I had one a couple of days ago that e-mailed because he wanted private lessons on SQL Server from me, and was outraged when I mentioned a price.
