Who throws a can of soda out of a car? That's insane. Almost makes you want to hook up a camera and 10 min loop of video, recording what happens around your car.I got hit by a boat about 20 years ago, while riding my bike. Guy was weaving a little and the side bumper on his boat (towed) hit my elbow while I was riding my bike alongside the road.
I tried to catch him, but couldn't. I didn't fall, but I was seeing red.
I got hit by a taxi in NYC... of course, I was illegally skateboarding the wrong way down the street at the time... No injury, just tore up my leather jacket a bit.

Thanks for telling us that last part. Depending on how long ago this was, you might have been on the sidewalk when you got hit.

That's quality entertainmentYup.
Currently watching them test to see if a cup of soda can kill you through a windscreen if thrown while cars travelling at highway speed. Actually scary, cause I very nearly had that happen to me years back, with a can of soda, both cars in excess of 100km/h
Love MythBusters, but haven't seen that one. On a side note, I had a discussion with Andy Warren about trying to spice up the key note at the Summit by bring in someone like Adam from MythBusters or Jeremy Clarkson from TopGear.
Adam Savage talking about SQL? Now that ought to be pretty funny! "Don't try this at home... we're professionals!"

So at work will be fair game....

Not that I would throw a coke can at Gail's window, mind you. But the image of the little brat was humorous I thought.
By the way Gail, I bought Settlers, was going to play it, but couldn't install it because my DVD drive died. 'Had to buy a new drive for my old PC at home. I should be up and running this weekend though.

So, I decided to finally get around to testing the 64-bit ACE drivers (replacement for JET), from here.
Running the install, it tells me that I have to uninstall my Office 32-bit. ๐
Time to figure out another way to test these.
