Hoooney? Will you Select dinner from TheRefriderator as tasty where IsReady is less then 30 minutes? Love ya!
Craig, I'm officially stealing this line for my English to T-SQL crash course. You have been warned.

Woot! My tenure here at SSC is finally completed! I've been quoted! Now, to raid the Cobol forums! *blinks innocently*
Go for it Brandie. I've gotten way to used to being the tech to English guy, might as well get *someone* a little extra money for it. 😀

Extra money? Wait, I'm supposed to be paid more than my DBA wage to teach my coworkers how to code?
And Andy told me speaking at SQL Saturdays was a pro bono gig!!! @whine.

Me thinks that might be why I was never approached for a speaking gig... I seem to have this 'Mercenary DBA' sign that I carry around everywhere. I should probably tone down the neon. And the blinking lights. The funny sound effect muahaha thing from halloween might be a bit much too.
Hm, no, definately nothing to do with my lack of expertise and name recognition. Nope! Silly sign. 😉

Ow! My mail! And on a friday night too. Get away from thy computers and go do something normal for a friday night! (and before anyone complains, I've been away from the computer for the last 4 or so hours)
In other (uninteresting) news, got some good ideas for an article on problem resolution under pressure, as volunteered by Ninja. Won't be until next year though. Any (advance) takers on beta-reader or co-author?

Not all of us have left work yet. I work in Western US, only 4:12 PM here. 🙂
As to your other question, I think my sig says it all. I'll be happy to read it when you get it done though, and/or help proofread and the like.

Shouldn't you be in the pub then? Maybe it's an African thing (I doubt), but friday post 4pm here just about no one is at their desks.

Guess y'all start at one of them ungodly hours of the morning where the word 'dawn' can be involved. Nono. I want nothing to do with that evil hour of the morning before the hangover's finished processing. 🙂

Holy crap! Who are these people? I don't think I've seen them in any of the forum posts I've browsed through. Is there some other way they get posts up, or are these just someone going through the entire archive of the QotD?

They would be going through the QotD archive. It's a pretty regular occurrence.
