Hey, you missed a good meeting last night. I think I only told one joke. πŸ˜€

Should we call the doctor? Something is not well with you if you only told one joke.

'postro-fees are also used to show a bit o' an accent.

Still a contraction (left out letters)

Where they should NOT be used..

In fantasy/sci-fi 'languages to persuade the reader that it's strange and alien.

Mi'kmaq'kae'way does not make me praise your literary skills and creativity. It makes me want to throw the book across the room (or hit back button for online fic)

They're also used to pluralize abbreviations. For example... DBAs and DBA's are both acceptable pluralization of DBA. Of course, people are easily confused because DBA's can also be used to show possession (and no, I'm not talking about demonic possession although a lot of DBA's fit that category, as well :-P)

Too slow! Removing a lot of SPAM this morning, and disabling some accounts.

Yeah, there was quite a collection this morning. I think I made like 10 post reports over breakfast

I reported some as well... they all started with something like "Hi, me glad to be her. This good place to...." and then it had a link at the bottom for a movie site (IIRC).

One of many reasons I find certifications to have little value. Same with interview tests.

Jeff, you promised me you would never mention the whipped cream incident in any way, shape, or form in public venues. I am hurt that you would even hint at it in this manner.

  • Jeff's answer on another thread made me think. (Yeah, I know. That in itself can be scary.)

When we hit 20000 inh the Thread should we start another thread labelled:

... DBAs and DBA's are both acceptable ...

    Surely not socially?

Unless perhaps it's a case of Angelic possession.
