Despite the "lol" in the post, I really didn't like this one. Maybe it's just because I've only got one nerve left today and she decided to stand on it. Maybe I just don't like her attitude on her very first post. http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic961024-386-1.aspx#bm986885

That's a spam post. New user, one post, just quoting from previous replies in the thread and adding a link to 'watch free movies online'. Reported.

Yeah... looking back at it, that's exactly what it was. I should email them and ask them where they're at. Then email them back to stay right where they are because I'm on my way to kick their ... πŸ˜‰

The final part of my optimizer series is up today. As expected, the page views have been lower than normal, but it has been good to reach new people like Hugo Kornelis and some of the SSC regulars (and ASK regulars like Matt Whitfield). Thanks to everyone that did read the series.

    SSC optimizer article views: 17,316

My blog optimizer article views: 17,026

    Close eh?

Heh... what did you expect? Some of us read both. πŸ˜‰

But Gail, you know that there are so many other people that truly appreciate you. Just ignore the ID 10 T's and help those that appreciate it.

Yeah. Still hurts though. Sets a really crappy tone for the day too...

I agree... it gets real hard to turn the proverbial cheek especially from some moroff that has a whopping 1 or 2 posts.

  • I don't know. I read his apology like a passive-aggressive slap upside the head. "Yes, I'm apologizing, but only because I got called on it."

Especially since he made that comment about "the other person" who still happened to be Gail.

Seems pretty sincere and genuine to me:

Gail, Will you accept my apology? Sometimes in a hurry, in a stressful situation, you do things you shouldn't do. I should have not inferred what I did from your post. You've made a great contribution to many people who needed assistance. I actually was referring to the post saying something like 'do you need another opinion, a confirmation or something else.' The person obviously didn't quite understand what the BPA does and may have been overwhelmed by yet another bunch of messages that they didn't know how to interpret. I misinterpreted your response.

I sincerely would like to withdraw that reply, thank you and all the members who help for their help and move on! πŸ™‚

Apparently it is still being reposted on Youtube

Give that a try. I watched it this morning and it was great.

Sure, the perspective is a little distorted because of the small camera and the fisheye effect it gives, but the view is amazing. I'm betting part of what made it hard to watch for many people is that since it is mounted on his helmet and he keeps looking around, you get some really jerky, swaying motion.

What astonishes me almost as much as the climb are the tiny rungs on the last stage and the fact that at the end you have 2 men standing on a platform only a few feet square and most of that is taken up by a lighting beacon! There's just one skinny pole to hang on to at that point. If they're blown off I wonder if that pole (they're tethered to it by then) would hold.

Maybe. Cat just went in for surgery, so if I come across as witchy today, my apologies in advance. However, the bolded underlined part of his post is what I'm referring to as passive agressive.

Good luck to you and your cat! I know how nerve wracking that can be. I was a mess the day my cat had bladder stones removed. May your cat's outcome be as good as my cat's!

Which is funny 'cause they explain that pretty well in the video and mention that OSHA is ok with it for the reasons stated.
