Do you suppose 5 minutes to return one row of data will be too much for end users? 😛Now I just have to figure out what the hell I did to that query...
If you're working for a government project: not at all. You might even need to add a WAITFOR clause... :-D;-)
It is essential to allow government staff to prepare themselves for the answer to the question they carefully typed into the PC over the last couple of days.... 😀
Am I using it right?
WAITFOR 'Friday at 5pm'
Wait a minute! If you're talking about government staff you'll most probably be safe with
WAITFOR 'Friday at 1pm'
Or do you have a 2nd shift in your Gvmt facilities? We don't.
When speaking of the gov, wouldn't it be more appropriate to say something like:
WAITFOR 'Anytime - we''re not working anyway'
😛Wow. Just goes to show anyone can forget to check for wayward apostrophes. : -)
Ah crap - some of it itches.
I was pretending I worked for the govmt?

Apparently tomorrow will be the 65th anniversary of the first computer bug:

By the way, I was contacted about a position in Kansas City that you'd be qualified for. I haven't responded because I'm not moving to KC and I don't know anyone in that area.
Great googly moogly. I just got a second spam from the same dude that I already told "NO"
Same exact shotgun blast.
I received it last week via LinkedIn. Was your name in the salutation? Mine was.

Those types of trivia are always interesting. I had a book with a picture of the very first working transistor ever built on it (and lost the book in one of my moves). If you look at it, you'll understand why the transistor symbol on ciruit drawings looks like it does.
Anyway... thanks for the link.

Looks like Lutz is having to pull teeth to get the OP to read how to help himself out.Actually I picture Lutz as Wayne's avatar.
The way that thread is going, this is what I'm picturing Lutz as. (I wanted to use this as my avatar, but, well, I didn't figure it would go over too good!)
Ooh, that's what I look like when I'm working on Reporting Services.

No, it's not THAT serious...
Unlike some other "issues" I have to deal with, it's rather easy to resolve: just walk away 😛
And since I got such great support from folks like Lynn, Jon, you and others I don't even feel bad in any way.
How I'm going to deal with the OP specifically? I guess you know what blacklisting means... 😉
To all of you: I'm doing fine. My PC has no blood on it nor am I bleeding. I don't have any headaches either. 😎

Red Rocks is great.
Never been there but just slightly south of Colorado Springs is the Broadmoor resort complex ..... Always liked the "Golden Bee" that english bar transported from England and rebuilt at Broadmoor .... great enjoying a pint of English ale ... and dinning at the top of the original Broadmoor building .... what elegance, what luxury and the joy of it all .... on the expense account.
Steve ever hoisted one or more at the "Golden Bee"?
I have not, though we've been to the mountain zoo just past there a number of times and I've seen it. Now that you mention it, I might have to take a trip down there and get one.

Nope, opposite side of the city. Not many trees out here, though I suppose the grass could burn up.
