Do you suppose 5 minutes to return one row of data will be too much for end users? πŸ˜›

Now I just have to figure out what the hell I did to that query...

If you're working for a government project: not at all. You might even need to add a WAITFOR clause... :-D;-)

It is essential to allow government staff to prepare themselves for the answer to the question they carefully typed into the PC over the last couple of days.... πŸ˜€

Am I using it right? WAITFOR 'Friday at 5pm'

Isn't that anywhere on the ranch? If not, you didn't get a rural enough place!;-)

Hey, I just work with them, not for them, so I have to 'trust' them that when they say they'll be there, they'll be there. And then cope with them not being there when we have critical questions about the sanctions they're placing on us. πŸ˜‰

Looks like Lutz is having to pull teeth to get the OP to read how to help himself out.

Actually I picture Lutz as Wayne's avatar.

As long as you enjoy it, feel free to do so... πŸ˜€

I thought about getting more and more sarcastic but it seems like I'm learning not to.

So, actually, I'm learning something at the moment. I just don't know what it is yet....

But since Saint Lynn took over I can safely step back and watch him taking care of it.

lol yeah. "I didn't dismiss your query, I will run it". Tenses were never my strong suit either.

**EDIT - Damn Wayne, that's funny as hell. Time to go home, day can't get any better than that....

    Red Rocks is great.

Never been there but just slightly south of Colorado Springs is the Broadmoor resort complex ..... Always liked the "Golden Bee" that english bar transported from England and rebuilt at Broadmoor .... great enjoying a pint of English ale ... and dinning at the top of the original Broadmoor building .... what elegance, what luxury and the joy of it all .... on the expense account.

Steve ever hoisted one or more at the "Golden Bee"?

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Funny - I am not in a rural area (fairly densely populated) with numerous cell towers and my house seems to be a prime deadzone - actually most of my neighborhood. Once we connect we have to remain in that same position for the duration or risk losing the call. A lot of phone on top of the filing cabinet, scrunched in the corner, elbow cocked awkwardly for a 2hr conference call.
