This won't be a popular answer, but, you're an MVP. You have access to a full license. You just have to register and turn it on.It's a funny thing about that... strangely enough, I keep forgetting about that because I don't play it up anywhere. I should take advantage of some of the goodies. Thanks Grant.
Oh man, come on. You need to take that baby out to the highway and crank it up and see what it will do.

Question for the User Group leaders on here:
Have any of you tried to export the list of members from the new and improved (and possibly sucks more than before) UserGroupSupportServices website? I've tried numerous times and I see the java script start to run, but I never get a list.
I just sent an email about this the site support.

@steve-2, Jack, Wayne: Getting out to the States is something I would definitely like to do at some stage.
@steve-2: Thanks for the offer to republish on SSC - I would be delighted to take you up on that. Just need to find some free time to do the content conversion, shouldn't be too hard though.
@david-2: Thank you.
Paul
We'd love to have you in the US, and I'm sure many other people would enjoy seeing you speak.
Feel free to send the articles over. Likely they might not be as wide an interest as a basic backup article, but there are lots of people that would enjoy reading them.

I saw that from Brent. Paul is garnering lots of respect from the other gurus.We need to get Paul out here in the US for some event 🙂
That'd be great! I actually wouldn't mind getting to NZ to see him speak. I can't afford it, but it would be nice.
I went to NZ in April from Houston. Round trip to Auckland was less than $1300 - Air New Zealand has some great deals this year. Hotels are reasonably priced, and it's a great place to visit. Highly recommended.

It's great. Jeff continues to do what he has always done; he provides great information about SQL Server and helps people. Which is what I think defines an MVP.

Not too bad, been working and living in Northern Norway as a senior DBAA oracle/sql server for a while, travel is a pain but it goes with the job as such. You cannot always find work in the UK.
Hope everything is ok with yourself.

True story: I have a friend who had accumulated so many frequent flier miles that he actually flew to Australia (he lives in California), spent all of one day there, and flew back!
