Are the posted questions getting worse?

P.S. If you're in the Memphis area tonight, come join us for:

Dan Evans - Creating an EPM Environment Using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and SharePoint 2010

Check our humble website for more details: http://Mem-PASS.org

I don't suppose I got lucky and this was recorded?

Exactly where we are headed, working on building a dev environment to play with.

    Greg E

Nope, it wasn't recorded but there should be at least part of the presentation available somewhere on the web. This was a repeat of the presentation he did at TechEd 2010 a few months ago. I saw that they had posted some of the presentations but it looks like they haven't posted this one yet.

That's one hell of a beast!

I was just thinking it would have been funny as hell if everyone had stopped posting for a couple days, to make him think he killed The Thread with that post...:hehe:

  • Don't think I have seen this in the Thread, but today is Friday the 13 and we all know what that means.

If memory serves me correctly it is the only occurance of the event this year. So be prepared for the worst.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Then we can still be friends 😉

In fairness, I did go through a phase of watching quite a lot of NFL, but don't get a feed in NZ anymore 🙁

I see your out of hours outage and raise you a "non-emergency patch install and server reboot in the middle of the business day instead of during the usual maintenance window," Sir.

It didn't happen today, but it did happen.

    Not "real" football, American Football.

Guess where I'll be on August 29th? At my first Bronco game! Family gave me an early birthday present!

    GO Broncos!

What? Schedule? Procedure? You're the DBA, you should always know what is going to occur!
