Are the posted questions getting worse?

Let me guess, let's say around early 30's. Say right around the time I graduated high school. Close??

    Just about dead on.

    Lucky guess?

    Nope. Check your profile.

Is there an easy way to search for all the threads he has originated?

You sure you want to do that?

That was my thought as well. A glutton for punishment Bob? It got way beyond "laughable" a while back.

  • If you're anything like my girls, I can almost see (and hear) you growling about now.

  • You sure you want to do that?

So speaks the lady who just tried to tell him that a SUM() was needed to see totals. 😛 You blacklisted him and then re-engaged!!

No glutton for punishment here. I washed my hands of him before any of you, because I started working with him over a month ago. My opinion of him is of record in this thread, and you guys should see the stuff I started to type and then flushed. 😎

I'm just curious what threads of his I might have missed. There is something about his pattern that annoys the hello out of me.

I'll drag in another alternate universe and say deploy the thopters to fetch him back before he is devoured by the shai-hulud.

    Paul, they call me.

Muad'dib, I believe is what you were looking for. Great movie and can't-put-down-series but I never had any romantic notions about wondering around in the desert screeching my 'ead off and drinking my distilled, err, excretions. 😛

Just venting, just venting, my friends. A good way to relieve some stress.

First, I agreed with you. Second, that's WHY this thread has grown so much and is so popular.

We all need a place to vent and who better to do that with then friends (anybody else hearing the theme song from Cheers?).

Same conclusion I came to yesterday when I had my little rant, but then I lost my wa along time ago.

That's the name the Freeman gave him. Awesome series. I have read all the Dune books written by Frank Herbert. The movies don't live up to my imagination while reading the books.

They never do, but the force field generators were quite cool and Stings eyebrows are always a killer :w00t: I thought it also had a good surreal edge to it but then again the whole crew must have been indulging in their own spice, man. 😎

Of the 2 versions, I think I actually prefered the version created for the SciFi channel. It came closer to some of my visualizations when reading the books.

Thanks for the tip, never saw the series! Thank you, I do.

  • Muad'dib was the name the Fremen had for the desert rat. Paul Atreides was also known as Usul (the pillar) among the Fremen. Frankly, I didn't care for the movie, but the book and the mini-series on the Sci-Fi channel were both great.

    Now for the Butlerian Jihad......

Oh and Lynn..... thanks for asking politely, I might otherwise have considered this to be a rude question. 😉

To answer: It's actually a direct quote lifted from one of his posts and it amuses me.

  • Been a while, but wasn't that the name of the "rat in the moon"? I know it has something to do with the small moon seen at night.

  • Yes, they had a rat in the moon, much as American Indians see a rabbit in the moon, instead of a man in the moon. Thanks for playing... and now, on to the bonus round!!
