Are the posted questions getting worse?

I'm going to give away my age with this, but I actually played CHAINMAIL in high school.

I'd say you were in high school between 1974 and 1977. Am I close?

Would it be improper to ask Jos if we can have the email address for his boss? I'd like to email him a few thread!!!

Ethics, ethics, ethics?? You know, I don't know. That is a good question. Think he'd give it to you and not just his to see what is sent?

I don't think he would be stupid enough to give it to me ............ but on the other hand ........

  • Crazy and Evil.

Eventually you may post out of being Crazy.

That could leave you just plain evil. No wonder you scare the heck out of everyone.

  • Hmmmmm...

    So many AD&D players.

DM: The OP has just sprung from behind a large pile of unread MSDN Library DVDs, wielding an update query with no qualifiers.

Cardinal Moden (15th level Palladin): I raise the Holy Porkchop catapult and fire.

Well, you can see where that could go...

Though playing only on the forum might stretch the game out quite a bit...

And then again, I might be wrong ...

I actually started playing D&D with the original 3 books back in high school. Does that give away my age as well?

  • Hmmmm..... Cast "Dispell CURSOR", roll 3xd20, adjust for windage, carry the two....

NetMeeting, or some other form of IM?

  • I started late (in my 30s) so I used the AD&D books to start with, but hey, once a geek, always a geek.

Never could get my kids interested...

  • All-night, drunken D&D at the next PASS?

I'd have to show up for that. I might not live through it, but what the hey...

First, I have girls (no offense Gail), and when they saw the books they just rolled their eyes. Second, I never really pushed it either.

But, I might be able to get my middle daughter interested in it now. She likes writing fiction/fantasy type stories (she wants to be an author).

    Hmmm.....

The way things are right now? Only if PASS came back to Denver AND I got a free pass to PASS. Otherwise, I don't think I'll make it right now, though I'd love to go.

  • I've been playing various flavors of D&D and it's imitators since the mid-70s.

As a DM, I've been accused of having the best "wicked grin of doom" by several players.

Is that before, after, or during, the interview sessions?

    Even worse 🙁

I graduated high school in 74. I played briefly in one D&D campaign but worked two jobs in college and played a lot of chess and poker to supplement my income. So I really didn't have enough time, and I worried that I could become an addict.

I got back into gaming for a couple of years when my son was in junior high and discovered MAGIC, the Gathering, which was an absolutely brilliant game for people who enjoy building and working with complex systems. (Tap 2 Plains and sacrifice Holy Pork Chop of Antioch, targeting ID10T)
