I took 2nd place in a BBQ Rib cookoff over the 4th. I did mine with a memphis rub, hickory smoked them about 200 degrees for 6 hours. They were the best ribs I've ever eaten. 1st place won because of presentation. They had a sweet bbq sauce with pineapples and a cherry on top. It look really cool but mine tasted better. 😛

Not comparing what I had for lunch today with Memphis BBQ, but I had an awesome Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich (Hot, as in spice BBQ) at the Farmers Market today.

Better than many places here that serve bbq sandwiches!
