Actually, if you come to Memphis and present at our PASS Chapter meeting, we'll treat you to some Memphis BBQ. That applies to anyone who's not from Memphis.

I took 2nd place in a BBQ Rib cookoff over the 4th. I did mine with a memphis rub, hickory smoked them about 200 degrees for 6 hours. They were the best ribs I've ever eaten. 1st place won because of presentation. They had a sweet bbq sauce with pineapples and a cherry on top. It look really cool but mine tasted better. 😛

Not that I'm aware of. But most people rave about Interstate BBQ (my favorite), or Corky's. Now, I have no control over what is at the PASS meeting. That's Alvin's call.

I'm so hungry for smoked pork chops my stomach thinks my throat's been cut. 😛

  • Not comparing what I had for lunch today with Memphis BBQ, but I had an awesome Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich (Hot, as in spice BBQ) at the Farmers Market today.

Better than many places here that serve bbq sandwiches!

Hmmm, theme here there seems to be, BBQ!
