...Maybe a really big article on the best way to nest views inside of views inside of views all while joining views...
A recursive CTE using a recursive CTE as input takes some beating.

I initially posted a cross-post warning on both threads and I realized they were not the same problem and different OPs...

Happy Canada Day for all Canadians north of the 49th and in the diaspora! Is it not Canada Day for Canadians in Canada south of the 49th?
Oops, I guess U.S. is sort of diaspora, but not really. Happy Canada Day to Canadians everywhere then! π

I just meant the large, populous parts of Canada that are below the 49th parallel, like Montreal and some of the island provinces. I'm not that familiar with Canada Day and thought maybe the Western Provinces celebrated something different, like Patriots Day here in Massachusetts.

This is the first time that one my articles did not bring out any discussion. It was rated very good, but it is very quiet... πLucky...still shell-shocked from the discussion on mine. For my next topic, I will keep away from talking about cursors and stay with something everyone can agree on, why autoshrink is a good thing. π
Happy Canada Day for all Canadians north of the 49th and in the diaspora!
Gaby, how did the discussion go on it from it being republished? I wasn't able to look at it... was kinda fearful for you!

There was a little discussion, but not too much contention on it. Gaby added a nice introduction to the beginning of the article as well noting that it was older and some of the advice was tempered by new experience.

Thank you!
One could think that those posts contained vital information on how to solve the issue and I removed them to drive the OP crazy. π

Conversation has died down and I've submitted a disclaimer at the beginning. It's all good.
