Is Wayne out there changing his name?
LOL.
Actually, I found that avatar on a post out here on SSC... but the poster hadn't been active in quite some while. Might have been him....

Steve,I like the change to the headlines section on the front page.
Agreed, it's a nice change.
Yes, it looks VERY nice!

I think it's nice, but it seems to me somewhat disjointed...
Why is the Event for SQL Saturday #22 a different size logo than the rest of the headlines. I get the smaller logos for the day old headlines, but for the same day I would think they would be the same size... but that could just be because I didn't have enough coffee yet this morning... It may also be that I like all of my data in well ordered tables :w00t:
See the attachment for details.

Looks like me reconfiguring my PerformancePoint environment.
Is there a lighter side of life companion - SOM? :w00t:

The headlines images are different because of poor image editing skills on my part. Our designer gets busy, and so I decided to try something. The icons are different, which accounts for part of the issue.
I'll work on resizing.
And please feel free to suggest other categories as well.

Seems like 800+ attendees for 24 hr pass. 50% of them must be from this forum. 🙂

I wish - it is blocked here at work and I forgot to get the request in for access to it.

I haven't been in on many sessions yet.
Jason, can you get to Tom Larock's Ustream? You can at least hear the sessions.

Hmmm - I have not tried that.
Just went out and tried - blocked as well. His blog is not blocked, but his Ustream is.
I will have to find a way to listen to or watch the sessions at some future point. Then again, I still haven't been able to get last years streams.

So it is not just our Network admins who are Site-Blocking Happy... Jason is also in the same boat. I have my laptop connected to a 3g modem but the bandwidth sucks big time.

I could have done the 3G thing, but then I lose connectivity to my work network. I kinda need to get other things done too.;-)

That would be nice - I only have the laptop. (p.s. I wasn't insinuating that you had nothing else to do. I re-read my last post and it looks like it could be interpreted that way.)

Nah you just hafta get creative with your routing rules. Send all your web traffic out the 3G and everything else out your wired NIC.
Route Add is your friend.
Edit: 'Course your network Security folks might frown on that approach...
