Make sure you've got your kilts in order gentlemen. Kilt Wednesday at the PASS Summit is going to be a happenning event this year.First, not currently planning on attending PASS, can't afford it.
Yep it's not in a convenient or cheap to get to location for many of us 🙁
Still, means I save on a kilt.
Kinda sad though cos Jonathan Kehayias invited me to co-present with him at PASS, which would have been 😎
You guys could have done your twitter presentation 😉
I think they should have a twitter keynote, speaker walks out on stage, sits down and says nothing the entire time, just tweets. :hehe:
Ha - I would walk out.

So's this one, I think.http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic915112-1550-1.aspx
1TB database, 400 tran/sec (??), needs a maint plan for 0 data loss and max 1 hour downtime for restore.
This is a job for DBCC TIMEWARP.
I need a recovery plan that violates all known laws of physics. You have to love those. And aren't they frequently followed by "and we don't have any additional budget"?
Yes - they are. Timewarp would be perfect for those - and for far more than just the database recovery!

Not a bad thing, but for those of you that are MVPs, keep that in mind when reporting. I tend to report about 3/4 of my posts to MVPs noting that I estimate that 25% of my posts are administrative stuff, or fun stuff, like this thread.
We've had some fun discussions here, and I've enjoyed it.

Ooh, good point. Hadn't thought of that. Time to unsubscribe.

Congrats! It's a long way to 8000 points!
Thank you for all the great support!
And because I'm stupid, more than 7000 of them are from posts. I just don't answer that many questions right.
So are you #9 on the forum posts?

I exclude this entire forum from the counts I submit, and then divide by 3 to get 'number of questions answered', figuring that on average it takes 3 posts to answer a question (considering there are requests for info, complains about dup posting and other fluff outside this forum)

Don't do it, Grant, you might miss one of the alerts or requests for help else where! 😉
