hi i need your help i am having database which loads the transaction on seconds on a day it goes to 30 thousand and now my database size has increased beyond the limit so now i want to archive and data and purge the data can you please help me
1) I nee know which is transaction table but i need to find what the refrence table to that so that rest all table should not effect or i may need to archieve and purge that table also
2)i need to archieve the data and want to name the file as date for which it has been archeived and purged.so that later if needed i can restore that data.

Whoa - a big order with so little information...What is your application doing? What tables/structures are you dealing with? Where is the largest growth? What are your parmaters for archiving? Where will the archived data reside? Again, too little information for any of us to be of real help.....
